Literally!! funny story...Miss Chief Sugarcoated was working on these invitations and my brother came home from work saying he had a really bad day...response "you think you had a bad day...I had to find a pair of stilettos for a hen" ! and here it is, cute and quirky...just like the gorgeous bride to be....x

I bought these scrabble pieces for the kids rooms but thought they looked cute on the kitchen bench for now, with a few of my trinkets of course.

Personalised Placemats

I put my Alphabetti Placemats to good use on Fri night...I personalised a placemat for each guest and did up a dinner menu for the table....I took the photos the next morning...hence the breakfast cereal (but the vanilla apricots left over were yummy on the muesli).

Chewy Anzacs

What better way to celebrate living in the bestest country in the world than baking some ANZAC cookies for a little family lunch! Here is the recipe...
Ingredients...1 Cup oats, 1 cup plain flour, 1 cup dessicated coconut, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 125g butter, 2 tbs water, 1 tbs golden syrup, 1 tsp bicarb soda. Method... Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees and line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Sift flour into a big bowl, stir in oats, brown sugar & coconut. heat butter, golden syrup & water on low heat and add bicarb soda. Add to flour mixture. Use a tablespoon to mould cookies and squash down with a fork. bake for 10 mins or until golden.

Continuing the Liquid Gold Trail......

The little miss and I headed down to Melbourne for a few days to visit hubby. At 6 and a half months she kept up with me on the shopping & cafe trail...I think I drank more coffees than a columbian!
